  • Drinking Tulsi water (Holy basil) everyday will help in combating throat ulcers.
  • After every meal, it is good to drink a glass of water mixed with palm jaggery (கருப்பட்டி). This will help in reducing the secretion of excess stomach acids which would cause digestive problems.
  • Before breakfast, eat one tomato everyday. this will help in weight loss.
  • Eating 10-12 Curry leaves everyday morning for 3-4 months can reduce unwanted weight gain from the body.

For Weight Loss

Ingredients

Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp.

Lemon – 2 tsp.

Honey – 1 tsp.

Mix all the ingredients together in a glass of water and drink this daily for 3-4 months. This will help in weight loss.

Reducing the intake of rice flour and potatoes in daily diet can help in promoting health. For nutritious meal prefer to have wheat and whole-grain food.

You can boil a betel leaf with a pinch of black pepper in 3 cups of water. Drink this mixture hot.

Ingredients

Holy Basil leaf – 2

Salt

Black pepper

Mix this together into a thick paste and apply onto the teeth pain area. This will reduce tooth pain.

For Small Scars on Skin

You can add holy basil leaves to your bath water. This will help reducing the scars when done regularly.

For Improving Child’s Health

You can mix carrot juice with tomato juice and add honey to taste. This mixture can be given to children occasionally for getting good strength.

When children get fever due to cold cough, you can drink honey water. This will be an effective remedy for reducing cough and fever.
