How to tackle Acidity Problem – Home Remedies

Apple cider vinegar is an effective remedy for stomach acidity. It has acidic in nature and also it has an alkalizing effect which helps to treat stomach acidity.
Apple cider vinegar – 2 tsp
Water – 1 cup
Mix apple cider vinegar into a cup of water and drink this mixture once or twice a day before your meals.
Basil leaves will give you an instant relief from stomach acidity. It has carminative and soothing properties in nature which helps to get out of stomach acidity, gas and nausea.
Take three to five fresh basil leaves and put them into a cup of boiling water. Now allow it to boil for few minutes. Keep it simmer. You can also add some honey to sweeten this basil tea. Drink this basil tea whenever you feel acidity. But do not add milk into it. Try this frequently.
Another simple way is, chew some fresh basil leaves will helps to reduce acidity.
Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties which help to neutralize stomach acids and so it helps to treat acidity problems.
Take one tablespoon of fresh ginger juice and drink it two to three times a day, which helps to treat stomach acidity.
Take some fresh ginger slices and put them into a cup of boiling water. Allow it to steep for a few minutes and then drink it.

Coriander seed powder – 1 tsp
Cumin seed powder – 1 tsp
Fennel seed powder – 1 tsp
Water – 1 ½ cup
Sugar – as required
Mix all the above ingredients well and drink this water on an empty stomach.
Take one teaspoon of cumin seeds and put them into a cup of boiling water. Allow it to boil for few minutes and strain it. Drink this water after your meal.
The carminative properties in fennel seeds help in digestion and so it helps to relieve stomach gas.
Take one or two teaspoons of fennel seeds and put them into a cup of boiling water. Allow it to boil for a few minutes and strain it. Now drink this water few times a day.
Another way you can simply chew some fennel seeds after eating spicy or heavy meal.
Know that simple habits and lifestyle changes matter a lot for health. One of the simple habit that could prevent acidity problem is drinking a glass of lukewarm water after or during a meal. This might help neutralize the stomach acid and flush out excess acids(if any) from the stomach.
