Lemon juice
Lemon is one of the best remedy for sun tan. It has natural bleaching agents that helps to lighten dark skin.
- Apply some lemon juice directly on the areas around lips and chin.
- Then leave it overnight and wash it off next day morning.
- This will help you to get rid of darkness around your mouth.
Lemon and honey
Ingredients
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Honey – 1 tsp
Yoghurt – ½ tsp
Direction to use
- Take equal amount of lemon juice and honey in a bowl.
- Now add some yoghurt into it and mix well to form a paste consistency.
- Apply this mixture on the affected areas directly.
- Leave it for about 20 minutes and rinse it off using cold water.
Aloe vera gel
To remove darkness around your mouth and chin, apply some fresh aloe vera gel on affected area. Allow it to soak overnight and next day morning wash it off using lukewarm water.
Aloe vera gel is the effective soothing agent and so it helps remove the darkness due to sun tanning.
Oatmeal scrub
Ingredients
Oatmeal – 1 tbsp
Tomato juice – 1 tsp
Curd – 1 tsp
Direction to use
- Take a clean bowl and then add some oatmeal into it.
- Now add tomato juice and curd into the bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients well until get a paste consistency.
- Apply this mixture and gently scrub it on the areas around your lips and chin for 5 minutes.
- Allow it to soak on your skin for 15 minutes and rinse it off using cold water.
- Repeat this process for twice in a week.
Olive oil mask
Ingredients
Olive oil – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – few drops
Honey – 1 tsp
Direction to use
- Take a one teaspoon of olive oil in a bowl and add few drops of fresh lemon juice into it.
- Now add one teaspoon of honey into this mixture.
- Mix all the ingredients well and apply it on your dark skin.
- Gently massage it for about 4 minutes then allow it to soak for 10 minutes or leave it overnight.
- Next morning wash it off using milk face wash.
Egg mask
Ingredients
Egg white – 1
Honey – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Direction to use
- Take egg white in a bowl and then add some honey into it.
- Now add fresh lemon juice into this mixture.
- Mix all the ingredients well using spoon or fork.
- Apply this paste evenly over on the affected area.
- Wait for 20 minutes and then wash it off using cold water.
Sandalwood mask
Sandalwood is the effective natural ingredients to treat sun tan. It also helps to whiten the darkness around your mouth and chin.
Ingredients
Sandalwood powder – ½ tbsp
Water – as required
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Direction to use
- Take some sandalwood powder in a bowl and add one pinch of pure turmeric powder into it.
- Now add little water into this mixture to make a fine paste.
- Gently apply this paste over the darkness around your mouth.
- Allow it to dry for about 20 minutes and then wash it off using warm water.
- To avoid dryness apply some moisturizer on your face.
Gram flour mask
Gram flour (besan) is a best remedy to reduce darkness of your skin. This is suitable for those who have dry skin.
Ingredients
Gram flour – 1 tsp
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Milk cream – as required
Direction to use
- Take some gram flour (besan) into a clean bowl and add some pure turmeric powder into it.
- Now add enough milk cream into this mixture and mix well to form a thick paste consistency.
- Gently apply this paste on areas around the mouth and chin.
- Allow it to dry for about 15 minutes and then wash it off using lukewarm water.
- If you have very dry skin then try this mask with almond oil instead of turmeric and milk cream.
