Ingredients:

Dried prunes – 1 cup

Water – 5 cups

Pear juice – 1 cup (optional)

Directions:
  1. Remove pits from the prunes and soak them overnight in 5 cups of hot boiled water. Leave it for around 12-24 hours.
  2. Now blend together the prunes and the soaked water until you get a smooth consistency.
  3. Use a sieve to drain the mixture into a container to get rid of any solid pieces of prunes left over.
  4. Now add a cup of pear juice to this mixture. This is completely optional and helps to sweeten the prunes juice.
  5. If the mixture is too thick, you can add some of the remaining boiled water to fill it.

This homemade prune juice can be stored in refrigerator for up to one week. You get around 1 liter of prunes juice through this method.
