Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder – Review
Caring your hair with natural products will benefit the best. I always love to use natural products on hair. It was during my childhood times, when I used the leaves and flower of hibiscus plant from our garden. I make a shampoo out of it by blending it in the mixer and use on the hair. Here is our previous post on how to make fresh hibiscus hair mask. But now, I could hardly find hibiscus plant anywhere near home, and even if I get, I do not have time for the preparations, due to the fast paced work life.
When I saw the Banjara’s Hibiscus Powder, during one of my shopping visits, I was intrigued to buy it immediately. I never doubt the benefit of hibiscus for hair care. It is effective in preventing dandruff, scalp irritation and combats hair loss. So, I thought of using this Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder for your hair pack routine. I’ve been using this for around two weeks now and am totally satisfied with the results. Read ahead to know more on my experiences with this hair care powder.
Product Info:
Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder has the goodness of Hibiscus, which is effective in combating hair loss, dandruff and scalp irritation. It helps improve hair growth. It is also used as a remedy for premature greying. This herb acts as a good conditioner and moisturizer for the hair – making it soft and shiny.
Price: INR 90 for 100g pack
Key Ingredients: Japa (Hibiscus rasa sinensis 100%).
Packaging:
The Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder comes in a clean white and brick-red carton. The carton has five green colored pouches of 20g hibiscus powder each. The packaging is convenient to use, though not attractive. For every application, you can use a single sachet. This will be convenient without solidifying into lumps.
The powder inside the pack is dark red in color. When you mix it with water, it turns into deeper red. The powder is quite coarse and gets easily dried when applied on hair. It is also has very mild smell and does not bother me. As I have medium length hair, one sachet goes for more than one time use.
I use this powder with water, but if you wish, you can also use it with curd or rosewater as per your preference.
My take on Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder:
First, add water to form a paste like consistency. Make sure the paste is not too thick or else it will be hard to apply on hair. If you form thick paste, then wet your hair before applying. I start applying the paste from my scalp down to the hair length parting it into sections. Keep the paste for around 20 minutes and then rinse off with shampoo.
Banjara’s Hibiscus Hair Care Powder makes my hair very soft that I cannot resist touching it. I did not use any conditioner while using this hibiscus powder but still my hair was very soft. I have a dry frizzy hair and this hibiscus powder made it soft and shiny after the first wash itself. The effects lasted for the next two days. Also, I had some dandruff and dry scalp irritation issues prior to using this pack and now it seems to have reduced after two washes. My hair was of nice black shade after the wash.
Pros:

Cons:

Rating: 4.5/5
My Final Verdict

Is this only for external use only or we can take internally also???
Yes… It is for external use on hair only. For internal use, you have to always take fresh hibiscus flowers. Be mindful of that.
