DIY – Cleansing Milk for all Skin Types
Skincare routine is important. Either you have a dry skin or an oily skin, you need to do the right clarifying method to get rid of all the dirt and oil. Sometimes, you get dry flakes or excess oiliness that cause skin problems. Commercial facial packs can be harmful and often harsh to the skin. I personally feel no face wash seems to be apt for my dry skin, because every other product, both high-end and organic ones, have caused dryness after washing my skin. I was disappointed until I left using face washes altogether. I have reverted to natural skin care routine with gram flour and turmeric. It seems always best to fit for my skin. If you are one like me, then here is three different DIY cleansing milk recipe for different skin types – oily, dry, and normal.

DIY Cleansing Milk
Ingredients
Milk powder or Milk – 1 tbsp
Gram flour – 1 tbsp
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
Water – as required
Direction to use
- Take a clean bowl and add some milk or milk powder into it.
- Add some gram flour and rice flour into the mixture.
- Add required water and mix them well without any lumps.
- Now our homemade cleansing milk is ready to use.
- Soak a cotton swap into the mixture and wipe your face or you can also massage your face for 4 to 5 minutes.
Oats Cleansing Milk for Oily skin
Ingredients
Oats – 1/4 cup
Milk – 1 tbsp
Cream or Yogurt – 1 tbsp
Direction to use
- Take some dry oats into a blender and grind it until you get fine powder.
- It should be in soft and powdery or you can also use oats powder instead of this.
- Now take a clean bowl and then add oats powder and some yogurt into it.
- Mix them well and then add required milk to make paste consistency.
- Now you can directly apply this mixture into your face and massage for about 5 to 6 minutes.
Almond Cleansing Milk for Dry skin
Ingredients
Almonds – 6 to 7
Milk – as required
Lemon juice or Water – 1 tbsp
Direction to use
- Take some almonds and put them in a blender.
- Blend it well until you get fine powder of it.
- Now take a clean bowl and then add some almond powder into it.
- Add some freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix them well.
- Now add some milk and mix them well until you get a fine paste of it.
- Now you can directly apply this mixture to your face and massage for about 5 to 6 minutes.
Cleansing Milk for Normal Skin
Ingredients
Milk – as required
Honey – 1 tbsp
Peppermint tea or Glycerin – 1 tbsp
Direction to use
- Take some glycerin or peppermint tea in a bowl.
- Now add some organic honey to it.
- Add required milk to the above mixture and mix them well.
- Now apply it on your face and massage it for about 10 minutes.
