Home Remedies for Dry Cough

Coughing occurs due to various reasons. The primary reason is the respiratory tract infection. Coughing is the natural body reflex to keep the respiratory tract clear from foreign bodies. Ingredients

Almonds – 7

Butter – 2 tbsp.

Sugar – 2 tbsp.

Direction to use
  • Soak some almonds overnight in water and peel off the skin in the morning. Crush them into a paste.
  • Add butter and sugar into it.
  • Mix well and take this every day to get rid of dry cough.
  • You can eat every morning and evening.

Remedy 2 #

Ingredients

Basil leaves – a handful

Ginger piece – 1 inch

Honey – 3 tbsp.

Direction to use
  • Wash the basil leaves and crush them into a paste consistency and keep aside.
  • Make a paste with crushed ginger.
  • Now take one teaspoon of each basil leaves paste and ginger paste.
  • Mix this together and a sieve and extract the juice from it.
  • Add 3 tbsp. of honey into this basil-ginger juice.
  • You have to take this mixture 3 times a day.

Remedy 3 #

Ingredients

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp.

Carom powder – 1 tsp.

Direction to use
  • Mix the turmeric powder and carom powder in one glass of lukewarm water.
  • Mix it well and drink this syrup twice a day.
