- Take some tea tree oil in a bowl and dilute it with water. Now put this mixture on your scalp. Allow it to soak for about 30 minutes.Rinse off your hair using mild shampoo. Make sure to always dilute tea tree oil as essential oils need to be diluted.
- Alternatively, you can also add few drops of tea tree oil in your shampoo. Apply this shampoo on your hair and wash it as normal.
Neem oil

- Like lemon juice, tomato juice also lightens your hair. So be careful not to go overdose.
Apple cider vinegar

- Take a cup of water and add one half tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into it. Now rinse your hair using this solution. Leave it on your hair about a minute then wash your hair.
- Take 2 cups of distilled water mix it with one half cup of apple cider vinegar and add three drops of an essential oil like lavender, rose oils. Now spray this solution all over your hair. Allow it to set for few minutes. Then rinse with cold water.
Cinnamon and honey
The antibacterial and antifungal properties in honey and cinnamon help to get rid of smelly hair problems.

- Add one half teaspoon of cinnamon powder into boiling water. Allow it to boil for about half an hour. Now mix one teaspoon of honey into it. Allow this mixture to cool down. Apply this mixture on your scalp and hair. Allow it to dry for about an hour. Then wash your hair using mild shampoo.
